Al-Ghabbash discusses with UNICEF Regional Director the strengthening of health cooperation

Damascus,SANA-Health Minister, Dr. Hassan Al-Ghabbash , discussed Saturday with UNICEF Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa,Adele Khodr and the accompanying delegation,ways to strengthen health cooperation. 

During the meeting, a number of health issues in the region were discussed, including the issue of nutrition among children in addition to vaccine programs. 

Dr. Al-Ghabbash stressed the importance of continuing joint coordination with the organization and working within health programs that significantly support the health sector and improve the quality of services provided, pointing out that during the past period, large projects have been completed with the support of the organization despite difficult conditions. 

For her part, Khodr confirmed the organization’s readiness to coordinate and cooperate continuously with the ministry in order to enhance and serve the health of citizens.
