KazanForum 2024 Will Include Discussion On Media Content Development Trends

KUALA LUMPUR, April 29 (Bernama) -- Leading experts from Russia and the Islamic world will discuss on the trends in media content development, in a session dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation  (OIC) during the XV International Economic Forum: Russia - Islamic World KazanForum from May 14 to 19.

KazanForum secretariat in its statement said the session consists of two thematic blocks, namely ‘Principle trends of the transformation of the information field in the modern world and the OIC countries’ and ‘Unification of the information space or its segmentation.”

“The media expert session is planned to be attended by leading specialists of the media sphere (heads of news agencies, media companies), well-known public and political figures, experts and analysts, “ the statement read.

“As a result of the discussion, it is planned to develop proposals for a joint plan of practical actions by representatives of the media industry of Russia and the countries of the Islamic world in the global information field.

“At the end of the media expert session a solemn ceremony of signing cooperation agreements between Russian and Islamic media companies will take place,” the statement said.

Phenomena such as development of artificial intelligence, formation of the Internet of things, the use of blockchain and cloud computing have a significant impact on all spheres of life, automating processes, ensuring data security and confidentiality, as well as generating new media content in terms of creation and content, it added.

The partners of the event аre the Russia-Islamic World Strategic Vision Group and the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the OIC, it added.
