Spring Land Realignment Hastened in DPRK

Pyongyang, May 4 (KCNA) -- The Land Realignment Shock Brigade of the DPRK is putting spurs to the spring land realignment.
The land realignment is now under way in cities and counties of North and South Hwanghae and South Hamgyong provinces far ahead of schedule.
Thousands of hectares of land have been realigned so far.
The North Hwanghae Provincial Brigade has deployed repair and maintenance means on the spot to ensure the high rate of bulldozers operations while giving precedence to the supply of fuel and accessory parts.
The North Phyongan Provincial Brigade and the April 22 Land Realignment Shock Brigade are making big achievements in the field realignment project in South Hwanghae Province.
City and county battalions of the North Phyongan Provincial Brigade have realigned more land than the same period of last year and made it possible to carry out farming operations with farm machines in the realigned fields.
The officers and members of the April 22 Land Realignment Shock Brigade are displaying the spirit of innovation with the pride of realigning the field of the country's largest agricultural province.
Those of the South Hamgyong Provincial Brigade, too, have waged an offensive campaign after setting higher targets on the basis of the successes and experience gained in realigning hundreds of hectares of land in Hamju and Jongphyong counties. -0-
