SKorea pres to discuss NKorea nuclear problem in Japan.

TOKYO, June 28 (Itar-Tass) - South Korean President Lee Myung-bak
arrives on Sunday in the Japanese capital on a one-day visit to discuss bilateral relations and international issues with Prime Minister Taro Aso.
The two leaders above all intend to examine the North Korean problem
at the coming meeting and to consider prospects for economic cooperation,
report officials of the Japanese Foreign Ministry.
President Lee and Premier Aso do not plan signing any documents by the
results of talks. Nevertheless, the sides are expected to express
confidence in the need for achieving a clear-cut implementation of the
resolution, taken by the UN Security Council after the nuclear testing in
North Korea.
International problems, which will come under discussion between the
South Korean president and the Japanese premier, also include activities
on the struggle against pirates off the Somali shores and joint efforts to
aid Afghanistan and Pakistan.
The leaders will exchange opinions on prospects for resuming the talks
on signing an Agreement on economic partnership, which were suspended in
2004 after Tokyo's refusal to accept Seoul's proposal to open the Japanese
market for deliveries of South Korean agricultural goods.
President Lee has been visiting Japan for the fourth time as head of
state. It was planned initially that his visit would last two days and
will include a trip to the ancient Japanese capital - Kyoto. However, the
time of his stay in Japan was shortened on getting the information that
Pyongyang may prepare for a new launch of a long-range ballistic missile.
