PM: Iraq Is Moving Towards Activating Bilateral Relations With Friendly Countries That Contributed To The Int'l Coalition To Fight ISIS

Baghdad/ NINA/ -Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed Iraq’s move towards activating bilateral relations with friendly countries that contributed to the international coalition to fight ISIS, pointing to the importance of fruitful bilateral cooperation in the stage after the end of the coalition’s mission.

 A statement from his media office said that Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani received, today, Thursday, the Australian Ambassador to Iraq, Glen Miles, on the occasion of assuming his duties, where he welcomed the new ambassador, wishing him success in his duties.

 The statement explained that the meeting witnessed a discussion of relations between the two countries, and the aspiration towards expanding bilateral cooperation in many economic and investment fields, as well as in the agricultural sector, modern irrigation technologies and confronting climate challenges, and the opportunities available for Australian companies to work in Iraq and the facilities available to establish constructive partnerships./End
