Further cooperation between Iran, Malaysia state news agencies discussed

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian ambassador to Malaysia Valiollah Mohammadi and Chairman of the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai, in a meeting on Tuesday, discussed further media cooperation especially between the Malaysian agency and Iran’s state IRNA news agency.

The Iranian ambassador referred to a document signed between the two state news agencies in 1980s which he said requires more increased cooperation between the two sides.

He also touched upon the inauguration of Iran’s president-elect Masoud Pezeshkian next Wednesday, noting that the event provides a good chance for the Malaysian reporters to travel to Iran and cover the event.
