There are 10 thousand Lutherans in Kazakhstan. He expressed his satisfaction with he activity of the Astana Church and said that believers make their contribution to the development of this major branch of Western Christianity which in some period was about to disappear.
Ishmael Noko, General Secretary of the Lutheran World Federation:
- Having met with my brothers and sisters from Kazakhstan, I have received a lot of positive emotions. I will join the mass on Sunday again. Tomorrow, at the congress I will speak on behalf of all Lutheran believers living in Kazakhstan and around the world. Even if the congress does not solve all the global issues, it will at least make people of various beliefs listen to one another.
