Kyrgyzstan hosts International Sports Games of CIS and SCO countries

The XXIII International Sports Games of the CIS and SCO countries are being held on the picturesque shore of Issyk-Kul Lake from September 4 to 12, the Bishkek Mayor’s Office reported.

About 3,000 participants from different countries representing the CIS and SCO are taking part in the competitions, which are being held under the motto "Asia - a region of commonwealth and peace."

As part of the games, participants compete in 24 sports, including team and individual disciplines.

The Issyk-Kul Sports Games has been held since 2001 and continue to gain popularity and strengthen friendly ties between the participating countries.
