76th Birthday of DPRK Celebrated Abroad

Pyongyang, September 22 (KCNA) -- Political personages of different countries issued press statements and articles on the occasion of the 76th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The secretary of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks in a press statement said that the DPRK, once dominated by centuries-old backwardness and poverty, turned into a socialist country adhering to independence and advancing by dint of self-reliance, thanks to the wise leadership of the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung.
And he wished the heroic Korean people fresh victory in building a powerful socialist country under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is creditably carrying forward the cause of the preceding leaders.
The general secretary of the Communist Party of the Democratic Congo in a press statement noted that President Kim Il Sung led the revolution and construction to victory with his steadfast independent faith, built a genuine people's country and devoted himself to the people.
The chairman of the Supreme Council of the National Socialist Party of Romania stressed, in an article "Independence and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea" posted on an internet homepage, that the DPRK regards independence as its lifeblood.
The road covered by the DPRK is a history of struggle for defending its sovereignty, he said, adding that the DPRK's steadfast spirit of independence gives  many countries and nations a clear way for carving out their destiny independently in the present complicated world. -0-
