Kyrgyzstan, France to boost co-op in emergency response

During the meeting a number of issues of further development of Kyrgyz-French cooperation in the field of prevention and elimination of emergency situations were discussed, the press service of the Emergency Ministry reported.
The sides also touched upon the topic of professional training of helicopter pilots in carrying out mountain rescue operations in Kyrgyzstan and the prospects of training for the fire and rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
“In conclusion, the parties thanked each other for the meeting and expressed hope and willingness to strengthen bilateral cooperation,” the report said.
