Housing Construction Progresses Apace in Flood-hit Areas of Ryanggang Province
Pyongyang, October 2 (KCNA) -- The regiments of Party members dispatched to the theatres for rehabilitating the flood-hit areas of Ryanggang Province in the DPRK are putting spurs to housing construction.
Thanks to the devoted efforts of the officers and builders, the ground concrete tamping of dwelling houses was finished in a short span of time and the framework and interior and exterior plastering are being pushed forward on a full scale, and the construction of floor slabs and roofs are going on in a three-dimensional way.
The regiments of Party members have secured enough building materials, including blocks and steel, widened the working roads and set up temporary bridges to ensure the transport of materials in good time.
They are securing tiles, various kinds of plastic pipes, covering materials and other finishing building-materials in close cooperation with the relevant units and arranging the areas. -0-
