Kyrgyzstan plans to open small-scale processing farms in every region
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev gave a number of instructions to heads of LSG bodies, heads of regional departments of agrarian development to open in each district small processing agricultural productions adapted to regions, the Water Resources Ministry reported.
“Today one entrepreneur provides for 3 pensioners. We need to increase the number of entrepreneurs. One entrepreneur should be able to support 1 pensioner. For this purpose, there is need to support entrepreneurs, to increase medium and small processing industries, to increase the socio-economic potential of the regions. In the long term, we plan to reach USD 30 billion of gross domestic product by 2030. We will achieve this success together with your efforts,” Torobayev said.
Earlier, together with the Social Partnership Fund for Regional Development, a Demonstration Center has been opened on the basis of Kyrgyz Industry OJSC, where successful examples of business projects on opening small and medium-sized enterprises, processing and production of products in the regions are presented to entrepreneurs, farmers, local governments.
The Center will present agricultural production equipment for processing wool, leather, seedlings, milking machines, mobile chicken canes, etc.
Those wishing to open such small-scale production are provided with all conditions, starting from the level of the district fund, agro-industrial crediting, free project writing, where it is possible to get funds from local financial sources
