French Golfer Celine Boutier Secures Victory at Aramco Team Series in Shenzhen

Riyadh, October 07, 2024, SPA -- French golfer Celine Boutier clinched her first title of the year at the Aramco Team Series, presented by Public Investment Fund (PIF) in Mission Hills Resort Shenzhen, China, finishing impressively with 19 under par.
Boutier and China's Xiyu Lin were tied for the lead entering the final round, with Boutier securing victory after a bogey-free round for the second day in a row. Lin came in second, two strokes behind Boutier, at 17 under par.
Following her victory, Boutier expressed joy, highlighted the intense competition with Lin, and emphasizing the importance of staying focused until the very end.
In a close contest for third place, Shenzhen team captain Chiara Tamburlini triumphed over Pauline Roussin-Bouchard who rallied with an eagle on the 16th hole to draw level with Tamburlini before the match concluded in Tamburlini's favor.
Golf Saudi CEO Noah Alireza praised the tournament winners for their outstanding performance, and acknowledged their contribution to setting a high standard for the sport and inspiring players and fans worldwide.
The Aramco Series, launched by Golf Saudi in 2021, features five $1 million events across the Ladies European Tour season. The upcoming tournament will take place in Riyadh from October 31 to November 2; it will feature 28 competing teams.
