Federation of Saudi Chambers Organizes Canadian Healthcare Companies Forum
Riyadh, October 20, 2024, SPA -- The Federation of Saudi Chambers hosted a forum for Canadian healthcare companies today, with participation from over 26 Canadian firms. The event was attended by Chairman of the Federation of Saudi Chambers Hassan bin Mujib Al-Huwaizi and Canadian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Jean-Philippe Linteau.
During the forum, three Canadian healthcare companies announced plans to open regional offices in the Kingdom, capitalizing on the vast investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia’s growing healthcare sector.
Al-Huwaizi highlighted the strengthening of Saudi-Canadian relations, including the formation of the Saudi-Canadian Joint Business Council, which has become an essential platform for fostering commercial partnerships between business leaders from both countries.
Ambassador Linteau expressed the keen interest of Canadian healthcare companies in investing in Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the existing collaboration between the two nations in the healthcare sector.
Chairman of the Saudi-Canadian Business Council underscored the ambitious goals of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which aims to transform the Kingdom’s healthcare sector into a more comprehensive and integrated system. He projected that investment opportunities in the sector could reach SAR 330 billion by 2030, encouraging further partnerships between Saudi and Canadian companies.
