MALAYSIAN KING CALLS ON RMAF TO MOULD HIGHLY SKILLED PERSONNEL

ALOR SETAR (Malaysia), July 4 (Bernama) -- King Tuanku Mizan Zainal
Abidin Saturday called on the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) to continue
developing its human capital to mould highly skilled officers and personnel.

He said RMAF officers and personnel should not remain satisfied with their
current level of performance but must continue to innovate to improve
themselves.

All personnel and equipment should be at a high level of readiness so as to
safeguard the nation's interests through the use of excellent and effective air
power, he said at the royal parade and commissioning of cadet officers at the
RMAF College in Kepala Batas near here.

Tuanku Mizan also advised RMAF officers and personnel to equip themselves
with the latest and relevant knowledge to be capable of meeting challenges in
making their organisation a dominant and respected one in the region.

"Your actions must be based on integrity and driven by the commitment to
serve with esprit de corps and boldness as well as the desire to achieve
excellence in the interest of the people and nation," he said.
