Talks between Senior Diplomatic Officials of DPRK and Vietnam Held

 Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- Talks between Pak Sang Gil, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and Nguyen Minh Vu, executive deputy minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, took place here on October 23.
Present there from the DPRK side were officials of the Foreign Ministry and from the Vietnamese side were members of the delegation of the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry and the Vietnamese ambassador to the DPRK.
At the talks both sides discussed in depth the issues of expanding exchange and cooperation in various fields between the two countries and developing the bilateral friendly relations with a long history and tradition onto a new high stage, and reached a consensus of views on them. -0-
