Head of the IJS and the Japanese Chargé d'Affaires Discuss Prospects of Media and Cultural Cooperation Between Iraq and Japan
Baghdad /NINA/- The head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, head of the Arab Journalists Federation, Mu'ayyad Al-Lami, discussed with the Japanese Chargé d'Affaires in Baghdad, Yokotakenji, the prospects of media, cultural and economic cooperation between Iraq and Japan in a way that serves the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples.
The Iraqi Journalists Syndicate said in a statement that "this came during the visit of the Japanese Chargé d'Affaires to the headquarters of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, and the Japanese Chargé d'Affaires expressed his admiration for the great development of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate and the high appreciation it enjoys worldwide, in addition to the fact that it enjoys an infrastructure for its buildings that befits the Iraqi journalistic family and journalists around the world.
For his part, the head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate reviewed the nature of the work of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, which includes thousands of journalists and media institutions registered with it, and its constant keenness to enhance freedom of the press and media and work hard to create a safe environment for journalistic and media work in Iraq.
During the meeting, Al-Lami invited Japanese journalists to visit Iraq and see the campaign of construction, reconstruction, economic and security stability that Iraq is witnessing, calling on Japanese companies to invest in Iraq as a great investment opportunity./ End
