Kyrgyzstan launches gold mining plant at Solton-Sary deposit in Naryn

A gold mining plant was launched in test mode at the Solton-Sary deposit, in the Buchuk area in the Naryn region.

The Kyrgyz-Chinese company Zhong Ji Mining began production activities on October 22.

The event was attended by the head of the region Altynbek Ergeshov, the president of the China Gold company Ying Zhan Bo, representatives of the Kyrgyz-Chinese company Zhong Ji Mining and local residents.

An agreement was reached with the Kyrgyz-Chinese company that permission will be given to operate the gold mine without destroying the earth's crust, and local residents will be paid a social package of 50 million soms annually.

In two and a half years, the necessary facilities have been built, such as a gold washing plant, an administrative and residential building, ore mixture crushing and filtration workshops, a laboratory, ore storage warehouses, a waste storage facility, a heating building, and a water supply system. The tank is already on its way. In total, the company has invested more than 12 billion soms. The company employs 350 people, most of whom are local residents.
