Efforts Concentrated on Winter Wheat and Barley Cultivation

 Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) -- The agricultural workers in the DPRK are concentrating their efforts on the winter wheat and barley cultivation.
North Hwanghae Province, which brought good results in the wheat and barley farming this year, has directed big efforts to accelerating the early growth of crops.
South Phyongan Province has taken measures to remove factors with the possibility of negative effects on high and stable yield, on the basis of surveying and grasping the situation of wheat growth.
Pyongyang Municipality is scrupulously conducting the work to keep the humidity of soil well and make full preparations for winter.
Officials and agricultural workers in North and South Hamgyong provinces and Nampho Municipality have taken agro-technical measures for fully ensuring relevant growth indices. -0-
