GCC Denounces the Israeli Military Targeting of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Riyadh, October 26, 2024, SPA -- Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi issued a statement today condemning the Israeli military targeting of the Islamic Republic of Iran, describing this action as a violation of Iran’s sovereignty and a breach of international laws and norms.
He reaffirmed the council's rejection of these military operations and called on all parties to exercise maximum restraint to avoid the consequences of continued military conflicts in the region.
Albudaiwi also called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and work to de-escalate the situation.
