Bahrain to host GCC POWER 2024 Conference and Exhibition

Manama, Oct. 30 (BNA): Bahrain will host the 20th edition of the GCC POWER 2024 Conference and Exhibition from November 11-13, organised by the GCC CIGRE, in cooperation with the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA).

The event will bring together officials, decision-makers, and experts to explore global best practices and innovations aimed at improving electricity services, boosting energy efficiency, and promoting sustainability.

Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, President of EWA, highlighted the conference as a platform for cooperation within the GCC and an opportunity to address challenges and share insights in Bahrain’s electricity sector.

Ahmed Nasser Al Nasser, GCC CIGRE Board Chairman, emphasised the conference’s focus on sustainable energy advancements, aligning with Bahrain and the GCC’s commitment to adopting high-quality innovations in energy.

The conference will feature sessions on system operations, energy markets, renewable and nuclear power, and smart grids.
