Kyrgyzstan, Austria may increase mutual trade turnover
Deputy Minister of Finance of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Tatikov met with Deputy Director General for Economic Policy and Financial Markets of the Federal Ministry of Finance of Austria Johann Kinast (in the rank of Deputy Minister) in Vienna.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said that during the meeting the parties actively discussed a wide range of issues related to economic cooperation, including opportunities to increase trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Austria.
Tatikov emphasized the importance of attracting Austrian investors in the sectors of energy, construction and infrastructure, which opens new horizons for mutually beneficial cooperation.
He also noted that Kyrgyzstan is interested in cooperation in all areas of the economy.
The experience of Austria in the field of green budgeting was also discussed, emphasizing its importance for achieving sustainable development. The deputy finance minister of Kyrgyzstan expressed interest in studying the Austrian experience of green budgeting, considering it important for further development.
At the end of the meeting, the sides agreed to continue the dialog and further steps to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
