Four Thai Nationals Killed in Israel-Lebanon Border Attack

BANGKOK, Nov 1 (TNA) - Four Thai nationals were killed and one was wounded in a rocket attack near the town of Metula, close to Israel-Lebanon border, Thailand's Foreign Minister said on Friday.

The minister, Maris Sangiampongsa expressed deep sorrow over the deaths and has instructed the Thai embassy in Tel Aviv to provide full assistance to the victims and their families.

The Foreign Minister also called for peace in the region, urging all parties involved to return to the path of peace and protect innocent civilians who have been severely affected by the ongoing conflict. -819 (TNA)
