Solemn event on occasion of celebrating 100th anniversary of Kyrgyz militia-photo report

The Kyrgyz capital city of Bishkek hosted on Friday a solemn event to mark the 100th anniversary of the Kyrgyz militia with the participation of President of Kyrgyzstan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Sadyr Zhaparov.

The event began with the screening of a documentary film and a theatricalized retro-presentation reflecting the path of formation of the national militia from 1924 to 2024.

Addressing the participants of the solemn event, the Kyrgyz leader emphasized that today's changes and new challenges taking place around the world require even more decisive and prompt action.

In this regard, over the past four years, on behalf of Sadyr Zhaparov, the necessary conditions have been created for the police to serve the people with honor, protecting their peace and remaining a source of pride for the nation.

During the event there was a solemn parade of equipment, ranks of all units of internal affairs bodies, demonstrating the power and continuity of traditions of the Kyrgyz police.
