Farmers of Kumdae Farm in DPRK Move into New Houses
Pyongyang, November 9 (KCNA) -- Another praiseworthy entity of the rural civilization has sprung up in the villages of the vegetable workteam No. 1 and crop-raising workteam No. 2 at the Kumdae Farm under the Pyongyang Municipal Rural Economy Committee.
The modern houses evoking the sentiments peculiar to the socialist cultural countryside show the benevolence and wise leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea providing the agricultural workers with new civilization and new life.
A ceremony for moving into new houses took place on the spot on Nov. 8.
Present there were Ri Myong Chol, secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the WPK, officials of the Party and power organs in Rangnang District, officials of the units who contributed to the construction, builders and agricultural workers.
A congratulatory speech was made there.
Then licenses for the use of houses were handed over and vowing speeches made.
When the residents began to move into their new houses, there were cheerful peasant dances.
Officials of the Party and power organs visited new houses and shared joy with the owners. -0-
