PM Stresses The Importance Of Britain And Major Countries Working To Put An End To The War Targeting Gaza And Lebanon

Baghdad /NINA/ -Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani stressed the importance of work by Britain, major countries and international organizations to put an end to the war targeting Gaza and Lebanon.

A statement from his media office said that Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani received today, Sunday, the British Ambassador to Iraq, Stephen Hitchen.

During the meeting, according to the statement, relations between the two countries and ways to develop them in various fields were discussed, in a way that enhances joint cooperation and achieves benefit for Iraq and Britain.

The statement indicated that during the meeting, developments in the region were reviewed, as the Prime Minister stressed the importance of work by Britain, major countries and international organizations to put an end to the war targeting Gaza and Lebanon, and the necessity of stopping the brutal crimes committed by the occupation forces, which caused thousands of victims, in addition to the danger posed by the continuation of the war to the security and stability of the region and the world./End
