Iran, Saudi Arabia discuss bilateral ties

Tehran, IRNA - Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Majid Takht Ravanchi, who is in Riyadh, has met and talked with the Saudi Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed A. Elkhereiji.

In the meeting held in the Saudi capital on Monday, bilateral relations, ways to strengthen and expand relations in various fields and the latest regional and international developments were discussed.

Takht Ravanchi said on his X account that his meeting with Elkhereiji was very constructive and effective, adding that they had discussed an array of bilateral, regional and international issues.

He said that Iran and Saudi Arabia share many commonalities as two brotherly neighbors, adding that their close relations will serve the interest of the entire West Asia region.
