Nursing Director at Kamal Adwan to QNA: Occupation Targeting Hospital's Patients and Staff

Gaza, November 22 (QNA) - Eid Sabah, the Nursing Director at Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, said that the occupation is determined to destroy the hospital and kill everyone inside, including patients, the wounded, and medical staff.
In an interview with Qatar News Agency (QNA), Sabah emphasized that Kamal Adwan Hospital has been subjected to direct shelling and a siege since the start of the military operations by the occupation forces in northern Gaza. He called for urgent intervention to save the patients, wounded individuals, and medical staff in the hospital.
He noted that drones targeted the hospital's power generator and oxygen station, rendering them inoperable and leaving patients in the intensive care and operating rooms without oxygen. He noted that the occupation's aggression also injured six people inside the hospital, including four medical staff members and two patient companions.
Sabah added that occupation drones launched bombs at the medical staff inside the hospital, injuring several of them. He further noted that the drones returned to target the medical team again while they were transferring their injured colleagues to the radiology department, resulting in injuries to two more staff members, one of whom is in critical condition.
It is worth noting that ambulance services in northern Gaza have ceased operations following the shutdown of the Civil Defense equipment due to targeting by the occupation forces, who have also detained 40 medical staff members in northern Gaza during their ongoing aggression in the region.
