Holding the 8th International Fisheries Exhibition with the Aim of Creating More Jobs
The head of the Fisheries Organization, while referring to the 8th Fisheries Exhibition, stated that the exhibition aims to enhance technical knowledge in production, processing, and marketing, create more job opportunities in the fisheries industry, and other related goals.
According to Mehr News Agency, Seyed Hossein Hosseini, the head of the Iranian Fisheries Organization, described the international exhibition as a valuable opportunity to introduce the fisheries industry to various audiences, including investors and economic activists. He also mentioned that the exhibition focuses on removing obstacles, supporting production, and creating export opportunities as key priorities.
He highlighted the exchange of innovative ideas, the development of economic and technical cooperation, marketing, and the identification of commercial and production capabilities both domestically and internationally, along with creating the infrastructure for exporting fisheries products. Additionally, the exhibition aims to showcase domestic and international advancements in the fisheries industry, strengthen and improve distribution systems, and facilitate commercial and technical communication.
According to Hosseini, improving technical knowledge in production, processing, and marketing, creating more employment opportunities in the fisheries sector, introducing new potentials, promoting optimal consumption patterns of seafood, and creating innovative platforms for production, marketing, and selling fisheries products are some of the key topics to be presented at the exhibition.
Regarding the main features of this year's exhibition, which is themed "Production Leap through Public Participation," Hosseini stated that 13 educational workshops would be held during the event.
