Bahrain Permanent Mission to the UN in Geneva celebrates National Day
Geneva, Dec. 13 (BNA): The Permanent Mission of Bahrain to the United Nations Office and other international organisations in Geneva hosted a reception at its headquarters to celebrate Bahrain’s National Day, commemorating the establishment of the modern Bahraini state as a Muslim Arab state by its founder Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783, and the anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the throne.
Ambassador Abdulla Abdullatif Abdulla, the Permanent Representative of Bahrain to the United Nations Office in Geneva and Vienna, delivered a speech highlighting the Kingdom’s progress across various fields under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, over the past 25 years.
The ambassador underscored Bahrain’s role in promoting multilateral cooperation, dialogue, tolerance, peaceful coexistence, and respect for human rights while advancing sustainable development.
