It was not only a hub for buying and selling but also a space for discussions on weather updates and trade developments. Additionally, the market hosted councils to resolve disputes and address economic and social issues.
Al Musa further noted that the market plays a key role in boosting the region's economy and tourism, attracting locals and tourists alike for essentials and locally made items. He highlighted that women at the market continue the tradition of crafting necklaces, using precious stones as well as silver.
Seller Ahmed Abdullah said that the market offers an extensive range of products, including traditional clothing and crafts, jewelry, cooking utensils, aromatic herbs, various types of honey and ghee, and agricultural and fishing equipment, all tailored to meet the diverse needs of its visitors.
