Foreign Minister receives credentials copy from newly appointed Sri Lankan Ambassador

Manama, May 8 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Shereen Shanika Dissanayake, who presented a copy of her credentials as the newly appointed Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Bahrain.   Dr. Al Zayani commended the advanced relations between the two countries, noting their continued development across various sectors. He wished her success in her diplomatic duties.   On her part, Ambassador Dissanayake expressed her honour in presenting her credentials and underscored Sri Lanka’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations in a manner that serves the common interests of both countries. She also wished Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
