Foreign Minister receives UK Defence Adviser for Middle East and North Africa

Manama, May 8 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today received Vice Admiral Edward Ahlgren, UK Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa (DSAME).

The meeting reviewed the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom and the ongoing development of bilateral relations across various sectors.

Discussions also focused on strengthening cooperation and coordination, expanding joint efforts to serve mutual interests, and exchanging views on regional and international developments as well as topics of common interest.
