HM King receives invitation from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to attend GCC–US Summit

Manama, May 8 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received an invitation from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to attend the GCC–US Summit to be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh.
The invitation was delivered to HM the King by Naif bin Bandar Al Sudairi, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, during an official reception at Al Safriya Palace today.
HM the King expressed gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the invitation, commending the deep-rooted and historic ties between the two Kingdoms and the continued development of bilateral cooperation across all sectors for the benefit of both peoples.
HM the King also commended the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ efforts to further develop Bahrain–Saudi relations and lauded Saudi Arabia’s role in advancing Gulf cooperation, strengthening cooperation among GCC member states, and reinforcing regional peace, security, and stability.
HM the King wished the GCC–US Summit success in promoting regional security, protecting the interests of its countries and peoples, supporting Gulf causes, and enhancing strategic partnership and cooperation with the United States.
