HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Manama, May 12 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with His Excellency Jeyhun Bayramov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, a letter adressed to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa from His Excellency Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was delivered to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, by HE the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

 HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad reaffirmed the shared commitment of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Azerbaijan to strengthen bilateral relations in line with common aspirations.

His Royal Highness highlighted the ongoing progress of cooperation between the two countries and emphasised the importance of expanding multisectoral collaboration to unlock promising opportunities across various sectors to benefit both nations.

 The latest regional and international developments, as well as issues of common interest, were discussed. 

For his part, His Excellency Jeyhun Bayramov expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’s commitment to advancing bilateral ties and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.

His Excellency Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, and His Excellency Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, also attended the meeting.
