HH Commander Shaikh Isa bin Salman meets with the UK’s Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa

Manama, May 12 (BNA):  His Highness Commander Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa today met with Vice Admiral Edward Ahlgren, the United Kingdom’s Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa, at Riffa Palace.

His Highness affirmed the longstanding and historic ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, underscoring the shared commitment to enhancing cooperation across multiple sectors, particularly in the military and defence fields.

His Highness Commander Shaikh Isa bin Salman commended the United Kingdom’s role, alongside allied countries, in promoting international security and stability.  His Highness underscored the importance of building on these strong ties to further benefit both countries.

During the meeting, issues of mutual interest and the latest regional and international developments were discussed.
