NPRA Undersecretary receives Bangladeshi Ambassador

Manama, May 14 (BNA):  Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA), received Mohammad Rais Hasan Sarower, Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

The meeting reviewed means to enhance cooperation between the two countries, particularly in areas related to residency affairs and the status of the Bangladeshi community in the Kingdom, in line with shared interests.

Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman emphasised the directorate’s commitment to strengthening cooperation and coordination with accredited embassies in Bahrain to streamline procedures and improve service quality, reflecting its dedication to supporting all resident communities.

The ambassador commended the efforts of the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs in facilitating procedures for the Bangladeshi community.  He also underscored his country’s keenness to enhance cooperation in support of the deep-rooted ties between the two countries.
