Industry Minister meets UK Investment Minister

Manama, May 14 (BNA): Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, held a meeting with Baroness Poppy Gustafsson, Minister of Investment of the United Kingdom.

The meeting discussed bilateral investment cooperation frameworks and new opportunities to expand the partnership to serve the strategic and development directions and visions of both countries.

Minister Fakhro emphasised Bahrain’s commitment to further strengthening cooperation with the UK, particularly in the economic sphere, highlighting the important role of the private sector in both countries in advancing trade and economic exchange.

He highlighted the most prominent characteristics of the investment environment in the Kingdom and the development initiatives undertaken by the government to attract diversified investments.
