His Majesty the King returns to Bahrain after leading the Kingdom's delegation at the GCC–US summit

Manama, May 14 (BNA):  His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa returned today to the Kingdom of Bahrain after leading the Kingdom's delegation at the GCC–US Summit held in Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Following the summit, His Majesty the King sent a cable of gratitude to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, expressing appreciation for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended during His Majesty’s visit.

His Majesty commended the successful organisation and hosting of the Summit, highlighting the deep-rooted ties and strong bonds that unite the two countries and their peoples.

His Majesty touched on the constructive discussions and fruitful outcomes of the Summit, noting Saudi Arabia's efforts in fostering and strengthening unity among GCC states, while maintaining regional security and stability and advancing peace, development and prosperity. 

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa further emphasised Saudi Arabia's pivotal role on the Arab, regional and international stage, commending its efforts to safeguarding the interest of the region and its peoples. 

HM the King concluded by extending his best wishes to The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and to the people of Saudi Arabia.
