Bahrain holds technical delegates meeting for 2025 Asian Youth Games in October

Manama, May 14 (BNA): The technical delegates meeting for the Asian Youth Games (Bahrain 2025) was held in Manama with the participation of representatives from Asian National Olympic Committees and the Olympic Council of Asia. The meeting is part of the preparations for the third edition of the Games, scheduled to take place from October 22-31.
Over 3,500 athletes from 42 Asian countries are expected to compete in 24 sports across 31 sub-categories, with a total of 253 events for men, women, and mixed teams. Competitions will be held at multiple venues including Isa Sports City, Khalifa Sports City, Exhibition World Bahrain, Endurance Village, and Sama Bay.
The Head of Mission Guide was presented as an official reference approved by the Olympic Council of Asia. Organisers confirmed the accreditation system will open in June, with a submission deadline of July 31. Digital accreditation cards will be issued in September, and the official accreditation centre will open on October 13.
A doping awareness programme will also be implemented in coordination with relevant bodies and in line with WADA regulations. The event marks Bahrain’s first time hosting the Asian Youth Games.
