The President Meets With The Chairman Of The Arab Tourism Organization, Stressing The Importance Of Expanding Bilateral Cooperation To Enhance Tourism Development In Iraq

Baghdad/NINA/- President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid stressed the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation to enhance tourism development in Iraq.
A presidential statement stated: "The President met with the Chairman of the Arab Tourism Organization at the League of Arab States, Bandar bin Fahd Al-Fahid, in the presence of the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani. During the meeting, they discussed ways of joint cooperation to serve and develop the tourism sector in the country and the region."
The President stressed the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation to enhance tourism development in Iraq, given its history, civilization, and heritage spanning thousands of years.
The President stressed the importance of the participation and contribution of the Arab Tourism Organization in the success of the Baghdad Summit through its contributions aimed at strengthening joint Arab action in the tourism sector.
For his part, Bandar Al-Fahid expressed his pleasure at meeting the President of the Republic, praising Iraq's preparations for the 34th Arab Summit, wishing Iraq success in its endeavors to consolidate security and stability in the region./End
