PM: Int’l Absence Has Contributed To The Worsening Of Events In Gaza And The West Bank

Baghdad /NINA/- Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani stressed that the international absence has contributed to the escalation of events in Gaza and the West Bank.

During his meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, al-Sudani said that he hopes the Baghdad summit will be an important factor contributing to halting violations.

For his part, the Palestinian President praised the official and popular Iraqi positions, expressing his government's desire to expand cooperation with Iraq and form a higher ministerial committee between Iraq and Palestine for greater bilateral cooperation./ End
