Bahrain's parliamentary delegation concludes participation in 19th PUIC conference

Jakarta, May 15 (BNA): Bahrain's parliamentary delegation, led by Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Division, concluded its participation in the 19th session of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC).
The delegation participated in the consultative meetings of the heads of Gulf and Arab parliaments and legislative councils, the main conference session, the meetings of the standing committees, and the session of the Association of Secretaries-General.
The Kingdom's participation came in line with its commitment to supporting joint Islamic parliamentary action and strengthening Islamic parliamentary relations, in implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The delegation included: Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Head of Delegation and Member of the Shura Council; MP Jaleela Al Sayed Alawi Hassan, Chairperson of the Services Committee; Dr. Ali Ahmed Al Haddad, Member of the Shura Council; MP Jameel Mulla Hassan; MP Mohammed Hussain Janahi; and Mohammed Ibrahim Al Sisi Al Buainain, Secretary-General of the Council of Representatives and Secretary of the Division’s Executive Committee.
The conference concluded with the issuance of the final communiqué and the "Jakarta Declaration."
