Foreign Ministry official meets European Commission official in Riyadh

Riyadh, May 16 (BNA): Mohamed Abdulrahman Al Haidan, Chief of the Legal Affairs Sector and Acting Chief of the GCC Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with Michael Karnitschnig, Deputy Director General for the Middle East, North Africa, and Gulf at the European Commission.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 26th meeting of the Senior Officials’ Political Committee between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the European Union (EU).

Discussions focused on means to enhance cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the European Union, in addition to addressing regional and international issues and following up on key topics of shared interest.
