Al-Sudani Discusses Bilateral Relations And Regional And Int’l Developments With The Emir Of Qatar

Baghdad/NINA/-Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani discussed bilateral relations and regional and international developments with the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on Saturday.

A statement from al-Sudani's media office said, "The Prime Minister held a bilateral meeting with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who headed his country's delegation to the 34th Arab Summit, held today, Saturday, in the capital, Baghdad.

During the meeting, according to the statement, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them in various fields, in addition to discussing regional and international developments of common interest.

For his part, according to the statement, the Emir of Qatar congratulated Iraq on chairing the Arab Summit, praising the procedures for organizing the summit and the messages and positions it contained that support strengthening partnerships and economic and trade relations, thus contributing to establishing the foundations of security and stability. /End
