Ambassador to Egypt receives Nasser Fellowship Programme participants

Cairo, May 20 (BNA): Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, Ambassador of Bahrain to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, received Salma Sheikho and Hamed Al Balooshi, staff members from the Ministry of Youth Affairs, who are participating in the fifth cohort of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership.

The programme, held under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt and in cooperation with the United Nations, is themed "Egypt and the United Nations: 80 Years of Representing Global South Issues". It brings together over 150 young leaders from more than 80 countries between May 10 and 25, and targets youth in executive roles and civil society influencers worldwide.

Ambassador Zainal commended the participants for receiving the fellowship and wished them continued success. She expressed pride in the distinguished role of Bahraini youth and their contributions and representation at regional and international forums.
