Public Security Chief receives University of Nottingham Dean

Manama, May 20 (BNA):  Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Public Security and Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Royal Academy of Police, received David Park, Dean of the Business School at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom.

Lt. Gen Al Hassan highlighted the role of the Royal Police Academy in developing and qualifying security personnel to enhance performance within the policing system.

The meeting discussed areas of academic and training cooperation, the exchange of scientific and practical expertise in line with developments in artificial intelligence and smart policing applications, and reviewed joint programmes aimed at enhancing the capabilities of Ministry of Interior personnel and students at the Royal Academy of Police.

Dean Park commended the progress and high standards observed in the Kingdom’s security, educational, and training sectors.
