Deputy Prime Minister receives Thai Ambassador

Manama, May 22 (BNA): Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, received Sumate Chulajata, the newly appointed Ambassador of Thailand to Bahrain.

The meeting highlighted the longstanding relations between the two countries, as well as their mutual desire to broaden cooperation across priority areas, particularly in economic and investment sectors.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah wished the ambassador success in his diplomatic mission, affirming Bahrain’s continued commitment to strengthening partnerships across Asia in line with its foreign policy based on openness, balance, and support for dialogue, partnership, and development.

On his part, Ambassador Chulajata affirmed his commitment to advancing bilateral relations in line with the aspirations of both nations' leaderships and peoples. He also wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued growth and prosperity.
