Housing Minister leads Bahrain delegation to 23rd GCC housing ministers meeting

Kuwait, May 22 (BNA): Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, led the Kingdom of Bahrain’s delegation to the 23rd meeting of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) housing ministers in Kuwait.

The meeting reviewed the 2024–2030 joint housing action plan, approved the final version of the unified regulations for joint property owners, and agreed to continue submitting updated housing statistics. It was also decided to hold the second Gulf Housing Conference in Kuwait this September and the fourth Gulf Housing Week in the United Arab Emirates in 2026.

Minister Al Rumaihi emphasised Bahrain’s commitment to advancing GCC cooperation in sustainable and innovative housing, drawing on the outcomes of the Social Housing Innovation Summit held in Bahrain last April.

She and fellow ministers toured the Gulf Housing Exhibition, where Bahrain’s pavilion showcased public-private housing projects, finance options, the "Bayti" real estate platform, and the Muharraq City development project.
