Higher Urban Planning Committee Vice Chairman meets Omani Housing Minister

Manama, May 24 (BNA): Shaikh Salman bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Higher Urban Planning Committee and Honorary President of the Bahrain Property Development Association, met with Dr. Khalfan bin Saeed Al Shuaili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning in the Sultanate of Oman, during his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The meeting was attended by Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, and Faisal bin Hareb Al Busaidi, Ambassador of Oman to Bahrain, during a Bahraini-Omani briefing organised by the Bahrain Property Development Association.
Shaikh Salman bin Abdullah highlighted the attention given to urban planning and development by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, the Sultan of Oman, aimed at serving both nations and promoting prosperity. He also noted the close follow-up by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and his directives to the government in this regard.
He expressed appreciation to the Minister for the visit, which reflects the longstanding ties between Bahrain and Oman, and their growing cooperation and exchange of expertise. He emphasised the importance of such visits in advancing partnerships and expanding investment opportunities in the sector.
On his part, Dr. Al Shuaili emphasised Oman’s commitment to enhancing relations with Bahrain and commended the Kingdom’s urban development progress and its role in attracting investment. He expressed Oman’s interest in benefiting from Bahrain’s expertise in this field and underlined the value of mutual visits in sharing experiences for the benefit of both nations.
